Frequently asked dishwashing questions
Yes, it cuts grease. The Dish Soap Bar is ultra-concentrated and plant-based, so a quick rub of a wet brush or sponge gives plenty of grease-lifting lather for a full sink. For stuck-on bits, let it soak a few minutes, then go back in with a scrub brush.
Each bar lasts about 2 to 3 months of everyday washing up and replaces roughly three bottles of liquid dish soap. Keep it on a draining dish between uses and it will go the distance.
The dish soap bars, brushes and sponges are gentle on non-stick pans and glassware. The one thing to keep away from non-stick is the Magnetic Dish Scourer: those steel pads are made for stainless steel and cast iron, and will scratch a coating.
It's not broken, and it's our most common question. The pump releases when you twist the middle collar, not the top button. Give the collar a turn and it pops right up.
Yes, that's the whole idea. The bamboo brushes have replaceable heads, so when the bristles wear out you clip off the old one and snap on a refill, keeping the FSC-certified handle for the long haul.
