Dishwasher Cleaner Starter Set

This one worked great. Better than the dishwasher tablet we were using.

Hard water buildup is unfortunately very real in my kitchen, so I wanted to try these Vove Dishwasher Cleaner tablets to give my dishwasher a proper deep clean. After running one tablet on a hot empty cycle, the inside definitely looked fresher and smelled cleaner, especially around the filter and door edges where residue tends to collect over time. I liked how easy they were to use, just toss one tablet in and let the dishwasher do the work. The tablets themselves were a decent size too, not tiny or flimsy looking, and they dissolved well during the cycle. I also appreciate that the formula doesn’t have that overpowering chemical smell. The light citrus scent felt much cleaner and more natural. As for durability, the tablets themselves seemed effective once used, but the packaging could honestly be better. There was quite a bit of tablet powder loose inside the bag and a couple tablets looked a little crumbly when I grabbed them, which made things a bit messy to handle. So in my thoughts , I think these are nice for monthly dishwasher maintenance, especially if you deal with hard water or lingering dishwasher odors. As for packaging, even though it is eco friendly, I wish it was batter.

These tablets worked really well and left my dishwasher smelling fresh and looking much cleaner. Super easy to use and a great value for the price. I’ll definitely be buying them again!

These are a decent maintenance product, but not something that completely wowed me. They’re very easy to use. I just drop one in and run a hot empty cycle, and that’s it. No strong chemical smell while it’s running. I did notice a bit of improvement in how the dishwasher smells afterward. It felt fresher inside and some of that usual "dishwasher" odor was reduced. The interior also looked a bit cleaner, particularly around areas that tend to collect a lot of buildup over time. That said, the change wasn’t dramatic. It didn’t feel like a deep reset of the machine but more like a light refresh. For hard water spots and heavier buildup, I still had some lingering residue afterward, so I wouldn’t say it fully tackles everything on its own. It seems more like something that helps with maintenance rather than a heavy-duty descaler. Overall, I’d say it’s fine for keeping things under control, but I wasn’t blown away by the results. It helps a bit, just not as much as I was hoping for.

These dishwasher cleaning tablets work great at cleaning the dishwasher thoroughly. I love that they are an eco-friendly option and completely plastic free. The price ($15.99 at time of review) is actually really great for the amount of tablets received, too. My only complaint about these is that there still seems to be some residue left in my dishwasher, so I end up with white powdery streaks throughout that makes it seem dirty still. It’s also not as powerful at removing grease/oil as others.

I’ve used this company’s glass cleaning tabs before and loved them, so I had high expectations—and these dishwasher tabs delivered. Unlike other brands that arrive broken in bags, these are packed securely in a recyclable cardboard box, so they arrive intact. That’s a big plus. After running a cycle, my dishes came out clean with no residue, and even the dishwasher itself smelled fresh. It also seemed to help clean down into the filter area. As someone with really hard water, mineral buildup on my appliances is a big issue. I also have old cast iron plumbing so my options for cleaning things have to be somewhat gentle. This has safe and effective ingredients and comes from a brand I’ve come to trust for transparent and eco safe products. This is simple to use and even versatile, would likely work to clean anything you run water through. It left my machine smelling fresher and looking cleaner, and successfully broke down all the hard water staining in the machine. You get a good number of tablets for a really good price, so it’s a pretty good deal. Simple, effective and transparent. Would recommend.

These tablets worked well to clean and deodorize my dishwasher. The instructions recommend you either use this on the "machine clean" cycle or the hot cycle. I have a very old dishwasher, so it didn't have any kind of clean or sanitize cycle. I ran this on the hottest setting with an empty dishwasher, placing the tablet on the bottom of the dishwasher under the lowest tray. It contains oxygen-based bleaching agents, sodium citrate, citric acid (a very weak acid for getting rid of the hardwater scale), and soda ash (to get rid of greasy deposits). Even though this is a pretty gentle cleaner, it did a very good job making my dishwasher look and feel clean. It got rid of the mineral film and scale, left no residues, and got rid of the odors too. This is unscented. I would have liked a lemony fresh scent, but this has a detergent-like smell that makes makes it smell clean too. This cleaned the areas that the water reached in my dishwasher, but did not get the upper part of the inside of the door so I had to handwash that part, but other than that minor inconvenience, these are great.

I’m a big fan of this brand, and most of the products I’ve tried have worked really well for my cleaning needs, so I was happy to have a good experience with these dishwasher cleaner tablets too. They definitely do the job, especially when it comes to removing odors from our dishwasher and helping the machine feel fresh and clean again. We do not really deal with limescale buildup in our dishwasher, so I cannot speak much to how well it performs in that area, but for odor control and general cleaning, it has worked well for us. I also like that this is a cleaner product with a more sustainable approach, which makes it feel like a better choice for my home. The packaging and formula both align well with that. On top of that, it is more affordable than many of the bigger brand-name options on the market, which makes it an even better value. As a fan of Vove products, I was excited to try this dishwasher cleaner. My dishwasher has some calcium stains and sometimes has a slight odor to it, but I wanted to see how it performs. The instructions say to put a tablet at the bottom of the washer and to put it on a setting similar to "Machine Care". For my Bosch the closest I had was Sanitize which was nearly a 3 hour cycle. After it was done, the calcium stains where still there, but any food traces and food odor wasn't there anymore (as expected since it's scentless). I looked at the filter, but not sure if it made much difference or is supposed to as there's plenty of gunk that's difficult to get off without manual intervention, especially since I'm not regularly doing it. Overall, this is a decent option to get your dishwasher a clean it needs as a maintenance (I've always thought it was enough to just do a load with your plates) in a tablet form and I'm sure there's lots of gunk/grease that builds up in and around your dishwasher over time. Unfortunately, I don't have much basis, so I'm not able to compare it to other products out there. Report Helpful
