Climate Action

Vove International ApS supports the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Climate is central to our purpose: we design durable, low-impact household essentials to displace single-use, high-carbon alternatives. This plan sets out how we will measure, reduce, and take responsibility for our climate impact.

Where we are today

Vove is a micro company operating a direct-to-consumer business from a small Copenhagen office. Our most material climate impacts sit in our value chain — the manufacture of our products, freight, and packaging. Today we already ship by ground and sea only and offset the emissions of our shipments; use recycled and FSC-certified packaging printed with water-based inks; and design plastic-free, durable products intended to reduce waste.

Our targets

  • Measure — complete a baseline greenhouse-gas footprint (Scope 1, 2, and material Scope 3) by 30 September 2026, updated annually.
  • Logistics — continue ground/sea-only shipping and offset 100% of shipment emissions; reduce freight emissions per order by 15% by FY2028/29.
  • Products & packaging — keep packaging plastic-free and FSC-certified, and increase product materials from recycled, renewable, or regenerative sources, targeting 75% by 2030.
  • Operations — power our office on certified renewable electricity and minimise energy use and travel.
  • Suppliers — engage our principal manufacturers to measure and reduce emissions, and add climate expectations to our Supplier Code of Conduct by end of 2027.

Resources, stakeholders, and review

The Direktion leads and is accountable for this plan, allocating budget for carbon measurement and offsetting. We report progress to customers on this page, work with suppliers to cut value-chain emissions, and discuss climate performance with shareholders at our AGM. This plan is approved by the Direktion and reviewed at least every 36 months. Questions and feedback: hello@vove.co.
