I used the tablet when my washer was ready for the sanitizing cycle. It worked great. It removed old lint deposits in the door that I couldn’t reach. The smell afterwards was nice.

TL;DR: This is an environmentally friendly Washing Machine cleanser. It was easy to use and it left my Speedqueen smelling fresh, although I discovered that after 8 years of neglect it took two sessions (one extended) to really remove the slightly musty scent that had developed. ~THE DETAILS~ SAFE CLEANERS: Vove contains oxygen bleach and enzymes that are said to clean without damaging gaskets and the like. MY POWER CLEANING EXPERIENCE: I followed instructions and dropped a single tablet into the tub before starting a hot cycle. At the end it initially smelled cleaner, but after awhile it was kind of back to a bit of mustiness. The next time I followed the instructions, except that I let it agitate a bit and then let it sit for an hour before finishing. This time the musty smell did not return once the machine had dried. I can’t recommend doing my power clean, but having never cleaned my machine before, it was apparently overdue. I really like the concept behind Vove products, which is making environmentally friendlier products. I’ve found several of their products that I really like and will keep on using.

This product surprised me! I live in an apartment complex and have a top load washer. Before using this washing machine cleaner, I did notice some residue on the drum, mostly around the top. These tablets are easy to use and I used per package instructions, on the hottest cycle, and I also chose the largest load size. After running the cycle, my washer was looking cleaner and definitely smelled better! These tablets have a light, fresh scent and I am amazed at the difference. When I received this product, I noticed that it was covered in a fine powder that got everywhere. The tablets inside looked ok, but there was powder everywhere inside of the box. Since this product performed so well, I am still giving it five stars but thought it was still worth mentioning. These are a convenient and easy way to give your washer a periodic cleaning. I have a front-loading LG washer and it gets a bit musty and stinky (particularly in the rubber around the door, even keeping it open to dry after doing a load), so I like a monthly cleaning. With this, I just popped in a tablet (there are 12, so the pack will last me a year) and ran the cleaning cycle. The instructions mention that you can just run the hottest cycle if you don't have a specific cleaning setting. It worked well and I will continue to use these.

These washing machine cleaning tablets contain sodium citrate, oxygen-based bleaching agents, sodium carbonate, citric acid and plant-based surfactants. These are ecologically safe ingredients for deep cleaning a washing machine. This worked well on my toploading Maytag. It had developed a musty smell and had some minor white scale deposits on the drum. I ran the machine on the hot setting, placing just one tablet in the drum, and now the musty odor is gone, replaced by a very light clean scent. Also, except for the uppermost part of the drum which was probably above the water level, the drum shines so I no longer see hard water residue there. These are effective for removing minor scale buildup and odors. You get 12 tablets so if you use one per month as recommended, this will last 1 year - a pretty good value.
