The citric acid and oxygen bleach get to work immediately on limescale and stains, and the Bacillus probiotics keep breaking down residue between cleans, so results actually improve over time. it took 3 tabs ,(all at once) for it to do the job properly. not sure about this one. maybe make them stronger?

One tablet is designed to do the job, but really stubborn stains or hard-water buildup can sometimes need a longer soak. Try dropping a tablet in and leaving it for up to an hour before brushing, which usually clears tough marks without needing extras. I've only used a couple of times so far, but I don't really notice it being any different than cleaning sheets that I've tried before this. I'm simply just looking for something that doesn't use plastic packaging. I don't really like that they take longer to dissolve, the sheets dissolved in a few seconds but I'm not sure they really did much for helping to clean, it is the scrubbing action with the brush that is really doing anything. It says you can leave these tablets soak up to an hour so I don't know if that means it's bad if you forget about it and leave it longer than an hour because when I'm ready to clean the toilet I just want to get it done not stick something in there have to let it dissolve and come back and finish later. I don't think you have to let it soak but I figured it probably maybe does a better job helping to get the hard water mineral stains off, but otherwise it maybe took a minute or two to dissolve if you want to just scrub right away

Our tablets are designed to loosen and lift hard water and mineral stains, so letting them soak simply gives them a bit of extra time to break down those tougher deposits before you scrub. There's no harm at all in leaving them longer than an hour. The 'up to an hour' is just a guideline, not a limit, so you'll never damage anything by forgetting about it. And if you'd rather just get the job done, you're welcome to drop one in and start scrubbing right away. The soak is optional, not required. We're really glad the plastic-free packaging is hitting the mark for you, and we appreciate you giving them a try!

My only disappointment is that the containers are dented. I have used the toilet bowl cleaner and really like it. Havent tried the laundry tablets yet as I am still using up laundry sheets

I have found these work really well. They just take more time vs harsh bleach. You drop them in the bowl, leave for an hour, then you need to really brush with intention. I live in a really hard water area and I clean once a week and the bowl still looks as new as the day I bought it.

They work well only used once so to early to say how good for a long-term

Can the probiotic toilet tablets also be used in the cistern?

The toilet cleaner tablets are formulated specifically for cleaning the toilet bowl, so we don't recommend using them in the cistern. The directions are to drop one tablet directly into the bowl, leave it for up to an hour for stubborn stains, brush, and then flush. Placing them in the cistern isn't advised, as the tablets contain oxygen bleach and other active cleaning agents that could potentially affect the seals and internal components over time. For the best results and to protect your toilet, please use them as directed in the bowl.
