Profit is the net income left after operating expenses, financing costs, income taxes, statutory charges and shareholder dividends. From that, 20% goes to the Forestry Fund each year. The per-order carbon offsetting we do (for example on shipping) is included within this 20%, so part of your order's footprint is already covered.
